Online (Details will be sent the day prior)
Event Details
Description of Course:
Evicting a tenant is never something any landlord wants to do. But in the event that an eviction is necessary, Tschetter Sulzer can help landlords walk through this process. In this class, attendees will learn about the types of eviction notices, how to draft a notice, and proper service of notices. This class also covers peripheral subjects to evictions like abandonment, domestic violence situations, and the Colorado Clean Indoor Act.
You should consider taking this course if:
- You want to understand the new laws and new court rules in Colorado surrounding evictions
- You are a new rental manager, new to the industry, or new to Colorado and want to familiarize yourself with Colorado specific rules and regulations
- The laws and rules surrounding evictions have become more complex and more nuanced (especially because of the COVID-19 pandemic), so this course is a great refresher for veteran managers
- You want to avoid the costly and time-consuming pitfalls of making mistakes on evictions forms
This class now includes instruction on completing Rent Demands, Compliance Demands, and Notice to Quit for Repeat Violations.
Please estimate approximately four hours for this class.
